Amer Nassar, M.D., Joins Mat-Su Regional Medical Staff and Mat-Su Medical Group

PALMER, Alaska – Mat-Su Regional Medical Center is pleased to welcome Amer Nassar, M.D., to the medical staff and to Mat-Su Medical Group. Specializing in plastic and reconstructive surgery, Dr. Nassar completed his general surgery residency at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle and a plastic and reconstructive surgery residency at Harvard Medical School – Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston.
Dr. Nassar performs a variety of reconstructive and cosmetic surgical procedures, including breast reconstruction and augmentation, facial fractures/trauma repair, cancer reconstruction, peripheral nerve surgery, jaw reshaping and rhinoplasty.
In addition to his medical practice, Dr. Nassar has a passion for helping those in need. He is the co-founder and former executive director of Beauty for Freedom, a nonprofit organization that raises funds for organizations fighting against sex trafficking around the world.
