Requirements
- Must be at least 15-years-old for volunteer service
- Complete an "Application for Volunteer Service"
- Attend New Volunteer Orientation - First Tuesday of each month : 8am-4:30pm
- Emphasis on Safety, Confidentiality and Compliance
- Contact Volunteer Services Coordinator for dates and times
- Interview with Volunteer Services Manager
- Sign a Confidentiality and Commitment Agreement
- Complete tuberculosis (PPD) test initially and annually thereafter
- Complete Drug Screening
- Complete Fingerprints and Background check
- Complete on-the-job training with an existing volunteer
- Annual Performance Evaluation
- Commit to a minimum 100-hours of volunteer service per year
- Schedules typically consist of a 4-hour shift one day a week
