On-demand room service food delivery is available for patients and guests between 6 a.m. and 3 a.m. by calling ext. 5555.
Food Service Meal Program
Our Nutrition Services staff has prepared a menu for you filled with a variety of food choices for your pleasure. We strive to serve healthful and attractive meals to you at breakfast, lunch and dinner.
- We have modeled our menu after the hotel room service style. We offer our patients a generous selective menu to choose from along with your choice of times for meal delivery.
- Patients may ask for snacks including sandwiches, yogurt or juice from the floor pantries. Simply ask your nurse what is available.
Guests are welcome to visit our Birch Leaf Café which offers a variety of tasty food. Hours of service are:
Monday-Friday: 6:30 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Saturday/Sunday: 6:30 a.m. - 3 p.m.
The Birch Leaf Café is known around the Valley as a great place to eat! Seniors can take advantage of our Senior Discount.
- Vending machines are located near the café entrance, the birthing center lobby and the Emergency Department lobby.
In the morning, patients will receive a menu to choose from for the following day. One of our Nutrition Services staff members – or a Mat-Su Regional Medical Center volunteer – will come to the patient’s room after lunch to collect the menu and answer any questions he or she might have in order to complete selections.
We encourage our patients to request a visit from our Nutrition Services staff to discuss any questions or comments they might have regarding their dining experience.
We hope our meals, prepared by our excellent staff, are enjoyed by patients and visitors alike – Bon Appetit!
