Interventional and Invasive Cardiology
Dr. Anschuetz attended Harvard Medical School, Boston, Massachusetts where he graduated with a degree in medicine in 1973. His Internal Medicine Residency was completed at the University of Washington Hospitals followed by a Cardiology Fellowship at the University of California San Francisco in 1979. Dr. Anschuetz is Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology and Cardiovascular Diseases. He lives in Anchorage with his wife and daughter.

Krzysztof W. Balaban, MD, F.A.C.C.
Cardiac Electrophysiology
Dr. Balaban received his degree in medicine in 1995 from SUNY Health Science Center at Syracuse. His Internal Medicine Internship was completed at Dartmouth-Hitchcock in 1998. Dr. Balaban's Residency and Cardiology Fellowship were completed at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Balaban's special interest is Cardiac Electrophysiology. He was certified in 2002. He lives in Anchorage with his wife and children.

He resides in Anchorage.

Dr. Binder graduated from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, New Mexico, with a degree in Medicine in 1995. Dr. Binder's Internal Medicine Residency and Cardiology Fellowship were completed at the University of New Mexico. He is Board Certified in Nuclear Medicine. He lives in Anchorage with his wife Dr. Bertha Tien and their children.

Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology
Dr. Compton graduated with a degree in medicine in 1989 from the University of Washington School of Medicine, Seattle. He completed his Internship and Residency at the University of Washington Medical Center, Seattle in 1992. Continuing his training at the University of Utah Medical Center, Salt Lake City, Dr. Compton completed a Cardiology Fellowship with one year dedicated to clinical electrophysiology in 1996. He remained on faculty as an assistant professor at the University of Utah until joining AHI in January 2000. Dr. Compton is also Board Certified in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology. He lives in Anchorage with his wife and children.

Christopher K. Dyke, MD

Christopher K. Dyke, MD graduated from the Univeristy of Texas Southwestern Medical School, Dallas, Texas. He completed his Internship and Residency from the Univervisity of Texas Southwestern Medical Center Parkland Memorial Hospital, Dallas, Texas. Dr. Dyke completed his fellowship in Cardiology from Duke University Medical Center, Durham, North Carolina. In additon he also completed a Cardiovascular MRI fellowhip from the National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, Maryland.

John C. Finley, MD, F.A.C.C.
Clinical Consultative Cardiology
Dr. Finley earned his medical degree from Northwestern University Medical School in 1972. He completed his Internship and Residency at the University of Kentucky Medical Center, Lexington, Kentucky. He then completed a Fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at the San Francisco Veterans Administration Medical Center.He is a Captain in the U.S. Public Health Service (retired). He lives in Anchorage with his wife and child.

Dr. Gray received her undergraduate degree from West Chester University, West Chester, PA., and then attended the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. where she graduated with a degree in osteopathic medicine in 1996. Her Internal Medicine Residency was completed at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown, PA. Dr. Gray's Cardiology Fellowship was completed at The Lankenau Hospital, Wynnewood, PA in 2004. She is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease, Internal Medicine and Nuclear Cardiology. Dr. Gray lives in Anchorage.

Dr. Ireland earned her undergraduate degree from Elizabethtown College, Elizabethtown, PA, and then attended the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Selland earned his Medical Doctorate at the Washington University School of Medicine in 1983.His Internship and Residency were completed in 1986 at Virginia Mason Hospital, Seattle, WA. His Cardiology Fellowship was completed at the University of Colorado Health Sciences, Denver, CO. in 1996.He is Board Certified in Nuclear Cardiology. He and his wife live in Anchorage. Dr. Sonneborn graduated with a degree in medicine in 1974. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Hurley Medical Center, Flint, Michigan, followed by his Cardiology Fellowship at the University of Michigan Medical Center, Ann Arbor, Michigan. In 1978 he moved to Anchorage. He has practiced Cardiology in Anchorage since 1978. He has four grown children.

His Internal Medicine Residency was completed at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas, TX. followed by a one-year Fellowship in Clinical Cardiovascular Research in 2001. He completed a three-year Cardiology Fellowship and a one-year Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions, Baltimore, Maryland in 2005. Dr. Watkins lives in Anchorage with his wife and three children.
