Learn more about the procedures Mat-Su Regional's Cath Lab Cardiologists perform for patients.
Our cath lab opened in March 2006 and has accomplished just under 1000 procedures, including diagnostic, emergency and scheduled interventions, cardiac support, pacemakers and non-invasive studies.
The staff is comprised of a multi-disciplinary team of technologists, RNs and LPNs who bring many years of expertise and experience from different labs across the country. They are a highly-motivated, highly-trained and dedicated group that believes customer service and quality care are the cornerstones of Cardiovascular services in the borough.
The lab is a state-of–the-art Philips digital x-ray imaging system with excellent image quality and low dosages, making the Allura Xper FD10 system an advanced dedicated cardiac interventional system with mixed cardiovascular capabilities providing superior performance for all cardiac and cardiovascular projections.
A GE Mac Lab hemodynamic monitoring and recording system provides cardiac calculations and reports that are generated immediately post procedure.
