Mat-Su Regional Makes Donation to Fire Department

The following is the letter that Fire Chief, John McNutt wrote after receiving donation from Mat-Su Regional Medical Center.

Thank you for the donation of the three fire department apparatus adapters. These adapters will enhance the response capability of Palmer Fire & Rescue for fire emergencies at Mat-Su Regional Hospital. These adapters will allow Palmer Fire & Rescue apparatus to connect to the building sprinkler systems and supply water for fire suppression activities. Also along with assisting fire suppression activities at the Hospital you have enhanced response capabilities throughout the community, especially to the Mat-Su School District. Palmer Fire & Rescue responds on mutual aid emergencies with other fire departments throughout the Borough, and these adapters can improve abilities to assist these other departments.
