I'm pleased to tell you about two of our hospital's most recent technological advances: In December 2009, our surgical team was the first in Alaska to perform a da Vinci® Nissen fundoplication procedure to treat gastroesophageal reflux, and our orthopedic surgeons now have a distinct advantage over traditional hip replacement surgeries by using the hana® table for a less invasive hip replacement.
